You can help us support these children from some of the most under-served communities in rural and tribal regions of India.

Under our flagship Surgery Support Program (SSP) we aspire to bring hope to children from the marginalized communities struggling with life threatening ailments by providing financial assistance to these children. The thrust of the program is on non-communicable diseases requiring elective surgeries and other tertiary healthcare needs. By developing a network of government, private and trust-run hospitals, who provide surgeries at subsidized rates in a professional healthcare environment to children of underserved communities, the SSP addresses critical medical issues for those in dire need. We hope to reach out to at least 500 children every year, across India.

Ekam Foundation Mumbai has promoted its helpline number to the key stakeholders like Community Development Officers, Doctors, Health workers, Medical Officers, Anganwadi-Sevikas and School Teachers. On identifying children needing hospitalization and surgery support from underprivileged background, they get referred to the Ekam helpline. Ekam Foundation Mumbai also gets referrals from its partnerships with other NGOs, who identify cases at grass root level and refer them to Ekam Foundation Mumbai for financial assistance.
