Ekam Boston was formed in Jan 2019 with an intent of encouraging adults and youth participate in volunteering in the greater Boston area. Chapter Director Nagasree Chakka is childhood friend of the EKAM founder who has pledged to use this platform “to help those that are disadvantaged.”

Ekam Boston is a group of250+ volunteers ranging in ages 5-88 years. In the year 2021 chapter has fulfilled 235 projects. The projects included sweet treats for troops, reusable mask making, care packages for homeless veterans, hand knit winter caps, hand stitched fleece caps & scarfs and food packages for the needy.
